Grants and awards

Dear colleagues, 

The Iberian Association of Limnology (AIL) offer 2 grants for students and 1 grant for early-careers to attend and present a communication at the international hybrid conference 6th Water Resources and Wetlands in Tulcea (Romania) (13-17 September 2023) (https://www.limnology.ro/wrw2023/registration.html), a meeting supported by AIL. In addition, the meeting organizers offer an extra grant for another student o early-career. All these 4 grants will cover the early registration fee for students (220€ each) and the early registration fee for regular participants in the case of early-career researchers (260€ each).

The application form and associated documents need to be sent by e-mail, in a single PDF file, to the AIL secretary (secretaria@limnologia.net) before the 6^th of March.

Adjunta en el siguiente link encontraréis la resolución completa y actualizada con la lista de las personas becadas y de las personas en lista de espera de la convocatoria de becas para el próximo congreso AIL/SIBECOL que tendrá lugar en AVEIRO en Julio de 2022.

Se han recibido 28 solicitudes para optar a las 10 becas ofertadas (7 estudiantes investigadores predoctorales, 3 investigadores postdoctorales), que han sido concedidas a:

Dear colleagues,

The Iberian Association of Limnology (AIL) and the Society of Iberian Ecology (SIBECOL) offers 10 grants to attend and present a communication at the AIL/SIBECOL meeting in Aveiro (3-8 July 2022), https://sibecol-ail-meeting202...). 

Meeting grants will cover the early registration fee established (225€ for students, 350€ for postdocs). 

Seven of the grants will be awarded to students and three to post-doc researchers.

Only young researchers members of the Young AIL group (J-AIL) and SIBECOL that have their AIL/SIBECOL fees updated when this call opens can submit an application. Young researchers are students and post-doctoral researchers that have defended their PhD thesis up to six years before the opening of this call.

The application form and associated documents need to be sent by e-mail, in a single PDF file, to the AIL secretary (secretaria@limnologia.net) until 31 March 2022 at 9 am (Portuguese time) / 10 am (Spanish time).
